Terra Mystica is a strategy game with a simple game principle in which luck plays a small role. You lead one of the 14 peoples who try to transform the terrain on the board to build structures on it. On the one hand it is unfavourable when other players are nearby, because this limits your expansion options, but on the other hand this is attractive, as it brings a number of benefits in the game. This tension makes Terra Mystica unique and keeps you on the edge of your seat until the end of the game.

Buildings can be upgraded to get even more income, such as workers, priests, money and power. Build temples to gain more influence over the elements water, fire, air and earth. Build your stronghold to be able to use the special ability of your faction. Expand your territory and build new settlements to have plenty of workers at your disposal, or ensure a steady flow of money by building trading posts.

The 14 beautifully designed peoples each have unique special abilities and in combination with the bonus cards, which change owner every round, this provides great diversity so that the game plays out differently every time.
