Raiders of Scythia - Board game (Dutch edition)

Centuries ago the Greek, Persian and Assyrian empires possessed enormous amounts of land and wealth. Despite their fortresses and imposing armies, rumours circulated about a formidable enemy from the area north of the Black Sea.

The fierce warriors, both men and women, came on horseback. They were skilled with sword, bow and axe. But they were no uncivilised barbarians. Their skilled craftsmen were famous for their detailed golden trinkets. They also made leather armour and developed the recurve bow. They trained eagles for hunting and war. Some even believe the Greek stories about the Amazons are based on them. But they were more than a legend or fable. They were the Raiders of Scythia.

The player with the most victory points (VP) at the end of the game is the winner. Victory points can be earned by raiding settlements, plundering and completing missions. You will have to hire warriors, train animals and stock up on enough supplies. The game ends when only 2 plunder fields or 2 missions are left on the game board.
