LEGO City Deep Space Rocket and Launch Control - 60228

The LEGO® City Space Agency needs you! Together with the scientists and astronauts, prepare for the launch of the space rocket from the NASA-inspired launch pad.

Test the rover in the training area to make sure it can pick up the geodes, while the robot scans the ground for interesting objects. Load the telescope onto the rocket and take the astronauts to the monorail so they can board.

Then head back to mission control and watch the countdown: the launch is about to begin! Psst... Did you know this play set is based on real NASA missions? Cool, right?!

• Includes 6 LEGO® City minifigures: 2 astronauts, 2 scientists, a flight director and a ground engineer, plus a robot figure.
• The set includes a NASA-inspired modular multi-stage rocket that can be customised in different ways with modules of the booster, the payload storage and the cockpit for 2 minifigures, a rover with an articulated grabber arm that is new from June 2019, a space telescope with fold-out solar panels and magnifying glass, plus a monorail system with multiple stops and 2 carts.
• This detailed toy set also includes a mission control tower that opens with a removable window, 2 desks with small screens, big screens for the countdown and the telescope images and room for a mobile device, and a launch pad with arms on the tower that can open for the launch of the rocket, plus a ground research area with a tile with a secret symbol on it.
• Accessory elements: 2 geodes that are new from June 2019, 2 helmets with blue visor, a magnifying glass, a scanner element, a tile with secret symbol, a circular saw, a wrench, a mobile phone, 4 water elements and a camera, plus a brick separator.
• Lower the barriers to make the carts on the monorail stop and help the passengers get on and off.
• Aim the robot's scanner at the tile in the research area to see the secret symbol.
• Place a mobile device in the mission control tower and take advantage of the interactive play options offered by the connection with the LEGO® City Explorers app.
• Lower the arms of the tower on the launch pad to launch the rocket and send it into space.
• Use the LEGO® Life app to access the intuitive building instructions of Instructions PLUS. Younger builders are supported during the building process too, with features to easily zoom in and rotate and a special translucent mode that lets them visualise their creations while building.
• Download the LEGO® Life app from the iOS or Android app store. Ask your parent(s) for permission before going online.
