LEGO BrickLink Coconut Cape - 910065
After a different rare set? Marco will help you look
Discover a tropical adventure full of pirates, hidden treasure and impressive architecture with the LEGO 910065 Coconut Cape. This special building set from the BrickLink Designer Program Series 8 takes you to an atmospheric coastal fort where adventure and history meet. With its imposing defensive walls, tropical vegetation and beautiful details, Coconut Cape is a real eye-catcher for fans of classic LEGO Pirates sets and historic buildings.
The LEGO 910065 Coconut Cape consists of no fewer than 2,384 pieces and was designed by the talented LEGO fan BallisticBricks. The model depicts a strategically located coastal fort that protects the surrounding trade routes from dangerous pirates. The combination of sturdy stone walls, characteristic towers, ornate windows and a nicely finished roof gives the structure an authentic look. The tropical setting with palm trees and other vegetation completes the whole.
Behind the impressive outer walls there is much more to discover. The fort has several furnished rooms with furniture and accessories that bring the daily life of the residents to life. In the courtyard there are two cannons built from LEGO bricks that give the fort an extra tough look. There is also a secret treasure room hidden in the walls, where precious gold and gems are waiting to be discovered. These surprising details add extra play fun and make the model particularly interesting to explore.
With the nine included minifigures you can make up all kinds of exciting stories. The crew consists of a commodore with his wife, two officers, three soldiers and two pirates. This lets you act out both daily life in the fort and exciting confrontations between the soldiers and pirates. Various animals, including a monkey, parrot, frog and shark, add extra liveliness. The classic look of the minifigures is also a nice reference to the beloved LEGO Pirates sets of the past.
Besides its good looks, Coconut Cape offers a challenging and varied building experience. The detailed construction uses special building techniques and consists of five separate modules. This makes it easier to move the structure and to look at the different parts up close. The carefully chosen colours, smoothly finished surfaces and decorative elements mean the fort is not only suitable for play, but also looks wonderful as a display model in a LEGO collection.
The LEGO 910065 Coconut Cape is a special addition to any collection and appeals to both experienced builders and fans of pirate adventures. As part of the BrickLink Designer Program Series 8, this set was offered through a one-time crowdfunding round, which makes it an interesting release for collectors. Whether you love impressive architecture, hidden secrets or the nostalgic atmosphere of classic LEGO Pirates sets, Coconut Cape offers a unique combination of building fun, adventure and collectible value.
