This is a model of Billund Airport. It was designed by one of the staff at the Lego store at Billund Airport to celebrate the airport's 50th anniversary. After seeing the model, one of LEGO's senior managers decided that it could be made official and released as a set. The Lego store employee who designed the original set was Lennart Cort.
This product was released in a limited edition of 10,000 and was available at only one location in the world - the Billund Airport LEGO Store.
