Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - 2DS + 3DS

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate is a new adventure in the Castlevania series in which Trevor Belmont takes on Dracula's emissaries once again. Belmont has projectiles and hand weapons at his disposal, including the whip the series has become so famous for.

It bridges the gap between the events of Lords of Shadow and the inevitably tragic finale, Lords of Shadow 2. Belmont's life is not easy, and that is once again clear in his adventures in the Lords of Shadow series. The hero of the story himself becomes the enemy, and you can assume that this does not end well. All the more interesting is the story of Mirror of Fate, in which this transition from good to evil is clearly present.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate is a fairly pure Castlevania game. Although the game sometimes switches to three-dimensional gameplay, it is mainly a two-dimensional affair. Purists can also look forward to the presence of Alucard, a familiar character within the series.

The fights in Mirror of Fate revolve around the interplay between Dark and Light Magic, where the former gives your offence a helping hand. Light Magic is there to keep you alive longer. It is the atmosphere Castlevania has always stood out for, and that is no different with Mirror of Fate!
