In the board game 7 Wonders you lead one of the seven great cities of Antiquity. Develop your city through scientific discoveries, military conquests, commercial agreements and prestigious buildings to lead your civilisation to glory! Meanwhile, keep a close eye on the progress of your opponents, because they have the same ambitions. Will your wonder outlast the millennium?

A game is played over three successive rounds: Age I, Age II and then Age III. Each round proceeds in the same way, with everyone playing cards at the same time to develop their city. These cards represent the different buildings you can construct: resource-producing, civic, commercial, military, scientific and guild buildings. At the end of each age, the player's military strength is compared with that of the cities of their two neighbours (neighbouring cities). After Age III you determine the number of victory points of your city, Wonder, military successes and coin value. The player with the highest total score wins the game and brings the greatest prosperity to their civilisation.
